For more than 20 years, Erçin Filizli has been active as a photographer, director and entrepreneur in the marketing and media sectors. During his preparatory phase for examinations in business management, he shifted into media broadcasting, firstly working as a TV producer in New York City, not least for the model competition "Ford Models Supermodel of the World" upon which Germany's Next Top Model is based. A large number of documentary films for TV broadcasters SAT 1, Premiere and RTL also appear among Erçin Filizli's references. His professional activities at the music station VIVA presented him with many challenges. It was necessary to create a viable structure between technology and editing, whilst simultaneously managing the leadership of on-air promotion. The immense success that followed secured Erçin Filizli the attention of VIVA's executive circles/shareholders, resulting in his appointment as interim director of the music video department at DoRo Produktion - Europe's largest music video production company at the time. Managing the production and direction of Stefan Raab's hit "Hier kommt die Maus" opened doors for Erçin Filizli to work as a music video director, after which several productions followed including the Echo award winning music video “Lord of the Boards / Guano Apes” and “Gone with the sin / HIM”. Following successful development work, Erçin Filizli left Department M. and VIVA to found the cross-media full-service advertising agency Vision Unltd. Creative WORX. The first step was communication work for the separation of brands at Volkswagen AG, after Filizli’s references in film and music video production convinced those responsible that the task should be allocated to VUCX. At the end of 2001, Filizli’s business partner Dr. Achim Fricker Dip.-Ing. left the company to start his own agency, Business Solutions. Filizli carried on the creative legacy with Vision Unltd. Creative WORX, concentrating on film, TV, visual effect production, interactive media, and communications design.
The core of the business ideology was and still is the belief in a modified marketing and communications world through the development of an integrated cross-media advertising and web agency. Audi, Volkswagen, Haniel, Hugo, Puma, PriceWaterhouse, b+d, 22talents, Dentsu, Procter & Gamble and many others referees from industrial and advertising landscapes belong on the list of Erçin Filizli’s clients.
