The “Hamburg-Köln-Express” (HKX), first private sector provider of passenger rail services in Germany, was in need of a new social media strategy, to make a better and more targeted approach to the customers and fans of its different social media channels. 

In a first step, VUCX was taking steps to the brand activation of the most important online channel, HKX Facebook. With a new community management, target group oriented, inspiring and entertaining content, real-time marketing, interaction with the fans, cooperations with sponsors and a consistent integration of the HKX branding into the facebook page, the fan community increased within six weeks by 9,88%.
